October 2010
2011 Schedule
We have almost completed our schedule for the first half of 2011. We are going to be in some new places next year, as well as revisiting some venues from this past year. Please take a look at our website to see if we will be in your area. We would enjoy connecting with friends, old and new!
Book Updates
Mark's book, "Considering The Horse," has just been re-released by Skyhorse Publishing in a new hardback edition. Inside you will find the same book and illustrations so many have come to enjoy, as well as additional notes from Mark, updating each chapter and sharing his thoughts about where he has come from since first writing the book 20 years ago. Please click here to order on our website. As always, Mark will be happy to autograph any books you order from us.
"A Good Horse Is Never a Bad Color," and "Horses Never Lie," will be re-released next spring by the same publisher, also in hardback editions. Mark is currently writing notes to follow each chapter, offering his thoughts and updating what he is doing these days. We will keep you posted.
Announcement from Crissi
As of January 2011, Crissi will no longer be traveling full time. She will start focusing on providing individual, private lessons and horse training mostly in the Colorado area. She will still assist Mark during the year at various clinics, as well as offer private lessons to those who either would like additional instruction, or for those who are unable to get into a clinic with Mark. You may contact her for more information on lessons in your area at: heartlinehorse@gmail.com.
Student Instructor Announcements
We would like to let you all know that one of our Student Instructors, Shannon Brown, has relocated to Texas. If there are any of you in that state who would like the benefit of Shannon's knowledge and skill, you can reach her through her website at: www.fourwindshorsetraining.com
We would also like to welcome our newest Student Instructor, Thom Mason, who lives in the Rogue River, Oregon area. Thom has been riding with us for a number of years and not only is an accomplished horseman, but also makes his living as a farrier. Thom will be helping us out from time to time during clinics. Congratulations and welcome, Thom!
Suggestions?
Are there things you would like to see added? Taken away? Obviously, we cannot give training advice about horses and riders we cannot see, but there may be other ways to share information that you find of interest. Let us know by e-mail at consideringthehorse@yahoo.com.
As always, feel free to visit us at our website, www.markrashid.com, for updates and new news!
